About
The Biennale Arte is the art exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. Its two principal venues are the Giardini, home to the national pavilions, and the Arsenale, the former shipyards. National participations and collateral events extend across Venice.
The 2026 edition, In Minor Keys, was conceived by the curator Koyo Kouoh, who died in May 2025. La Biennale chose to realise the exhibition as she had defined it, with the support of her family.
The autumn weeks are quieter than the opening season, which makes them a good moment for an unhurried visit.
